Vacation Schemes

Our summer legal work placement scheme provides you with an insight into the work of a contemporary international law firm. We aim to give you a variety of experience in a number of diverse areas such as Corporate Finance, Travel & Leisure or Sports Law. In addition you will experience a programme of visits, informal discussions and seminars designed to give you as clear an impression as possible of life and work as a solicitor in the City.

2 weeks.

Training Contract

The training contract is your opportunity to experience a number of the firm's specialisms and to begin to acquire some first rate legal skills. The primary objectives for our trainee programme are:
  • To give you access to work, experience and training that enables you to develop first rate legal knowledge;
  • To build your professional confidence; and
  • To introduce you to the foundations of management skills which will become key as your career progresses.

Length of the program

2 years.

Seats

Your two year training contract will be split into four seats and we do our best to provide experience in seats of your choice.

Deferrals or different intakes

Deferrals are considered on an individual basis.

Number of trainees employed

Up to 10 trainees are recruited each year.

Recruitment Process

Number of Interviews

Successful applicants will be invited to complete an online test. If successful in passing the test, you will then be asked to attend an assessment day where you will take part in a group exercise, critical reasoning test and written test. If you pass the assessment centre, you will be invited in to the final part of the process, which is a structured interview and individual assessment. You will also have the opportunity to meet with existing trainees, lawyers and other staff of the firm.

Assessment days are held in our London office.

During the day you will meet with partners, trainees and members of the Legal Personnel team.
