At Osborne Clarke we turn our legal expertise into our clients' commercial gain. We do that by using our experience, expertise and imagination to give them tailored, practical advice that makes a difference to their business. Although we're professionals, we don't believe that means we have to be stuffy or overcomplicate our solutions.
Our sector focus means that we know a range of important industry sectors inside out. We have particular expertise in Digital Business, Energy & Natural Resources, Financial Services and Real Estate & Infrastructure. As you'd expect we are also experts in the range of legal services, from business regulation to tax.
We have offices in key European locations, including the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Spain as well as in the US. Our close working relationships with other firms around the world give our clients access to global expertise.
SPECIALISED AREAS

The culture at Osborne Clarke is something that we are very proud of. We have created solidarity within the firm that has generated a highly collaborative working atmosphere and enabled us to maintain our 'can do' approach. Our people values encourage employees to be professional and supportive in our approach to clients and colleagues, encourage open and honest communication, embrace change positively and build relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
All of our employees are encouraged to develop and achieve their full potential which is why we have a number of development programmes in place. We run a newly qualified solicitor day to help equip our trainees for the start of life as a qualified solicitor. From here, we also provide training days for lawyers who are coming up to associateship and specific days for those coming up to partnership.
To run alongside these courses, we also have a bespoke training programme. This programme features courses to compliment your legal training and ranges from presentation skills to further training on an IT package.
We're looking for candidates who can; communicate effectively, think commercially and practically, solve problems creatively, build effective relationships and demonstrate initiative. Foreign language skills are also an advantage.
Strong academic achievement is essential and candidates should have achieved, or expect to achieve, at least a 2.1 degree in any discipline with grades A - B at A' Level or equivalent. We welcome applications from candidates seeking a career change.
